Valentines Day Outfit Inspiration

Valentines Day is just a week away! This time of year is my favorite because not only is this next week all about showing that special someone how much you adore them but its also 4 days before my birthday! Growing up I always loved having my birthday and Valentines Day so close together. With the classroom valentine exchange it was like having two parties in one week! However now that I older and have a real valentine, not just some playground crush, I feel like there is unspoken pressure for him to get me a birthday gift and also do something romantic for valentines day. Dose anyone else with birthdays close to holidays feel me? I don’t want there to be pressure, like get me a pair of fuzzy socks and take me to see the new Fifty Shades movie and I will be happy.

This outfit is perfect for a movie and dinner date. This top is made of sweatshirt material and will keep you warm in those drafty movie theaters. Like why are always so cold?  Are you obsessed with these sleeves as much as I am? Its such a good price and under $30. This pink fur clutch is from Studio DIY’s “Can’t Clutch This” clutch subscription. This clutch is from November and is sold out but I linked a similar clutch with the rest of my outfit below!

I am all about simple pieces that can be worn dressed up or causal. This skater skirt has so many possibilities, it can be worn with tank tops in the summer or with tights in the winter. This outfit would be perfect for a fancy dinner date. These are my go to heels. I am really short at only 5’1 and  these have enough heel to make me feel taller but are short enough that they don’t hurt if I wear them for hours. This blush statement necklace is a few years old and I found it at forever 21, I linked a similar necklace below!
